Dear Staff,
Can you please forward me some information on the pocket socket and if this device allows you to store energy for future use? I watched your video but it seemed to turn on the phones or computer when the pocket socket was being cranked only. My son is interested in doing a science project on less expensive power sources but we’d like to figure out how we can store this energy and what are the best ways to do so.
Thank you,
Christine Jurkovich
Our devices are designed to be used with wall chargers which charge up batteries. The only limitations are power and the chargers must be switching chargers. The power limitation on the devices is 10 watts and 20 watts for the hand crank and pedal generator. A switching charger is needed because we put out 120 volts dc and these chargers also work on dc. They are the dominant chargers in use today in the power range we work with. So for example all cell phones, tablets dvd players, mp3 players etc. So finding one is not difficult. Sincerely ken
